Ryan Vergara hails from Vancouver, Washington, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from Brigham Young University, a certificate in Russian Language and Culture from The Higher School of Economics (Высшая школа экономики) and a Master’s degree in English from Harvard University, Extension School. He is the author of essays and poems published in Experience and The Brattle Street Review, editor emeritus of Chiasm: Journal of Neuroscience, and an ice hockey coach for the Vancouver Jr. Rangers. He hopes to someday publish something longer than a few pages.
